Your news sucks. Losing a breast is a very personal thing, I couldn't wait to have mine off once the cancer was confirmed - I felt I needed to get this thing as far away from me as possible, I probably would have started gnawing it off myself if the surgery hadn't been so fast! Don't get me wrong I liked my pair of boobs, never even walked around the house without a bra on - they always had to look their best :)
But I have found that now the surgery is done and therapy has started my focus has shifted away from the breast at least for the time being.
