- Trikki2MemberHey @Twiggyjumps
Thanks for your input. I also drink powerade. Dairy free icecream was good tonight...xx
Trikki2 - TwiggyjumpsMemberI bought different flavoured cordials to add a little to water. I love water so didn’t want to go off it while on chemo. But needed lots of fluids. Powerade really helped to. So did Maccas and Latte! I added tomatoe sauce or something to disguise the taste. I had a good appetite most of the time. I did go off dove shampoo and conditioner though as I used it on the last tufts of hair on my scalp that I kept so I could wear wigs. Bloody things were so itchy. As winter came, beanies were my friends morning and night. X
- kmakmMember@Zoffiel Letrozole has changed my farts. This is absurdly disquieting. How? Why? Tbh it's probably best if I don't know...
- Kiwi_AngelMember@Zoffiel I had exactly the same experience with olives. Only just starting to be able to tolerate them in small doses again and I used to love them.
- Trikki2Member@Zoffiel lol. Gotta love the fart foods hehe. Thanks hun xxxx

2017 it was fat, salt and sugar. The whiteness of it all. Mashed potato, ice cream, cheese toasties. Oatmeal and bananas with a bit of yoghurt, Avocado, cautiously, after day 6. 2006 it was chilli, ginger, spice and pomegranate all the way.
The only constant over a decade was my chemo aversion to coffee and olives. 18 months after treatment I'm still struggling with that and I've lost my love of cruciferous vegies--to make a classic cauli au gratin and not to be able to eat without thinking something is wrong about the whole dish is deeply irritating. I still eat broccoli because I know it's good for me, but I don't enjoy it. Cabbage has to be raw and it makes me fart. Which may be a good thing. Or not.
- Trikki2MemberThanks @Schwen xx i just keep eating lol. Yes i cant have too acidic. Xxx
- SchwenMemberI found that I have to be careful of acidic stuff, like tomatoes, oranges etc etc, even though I am loving having a ham, cheese and tomato sandwich on fresh white bread lol... I just eat what i want, when i want, and how much of it I want...I can't handle coffee for the first week after treatment ( no idea what im going to do after next round, as i then go onto weekly lol), so have turned to chocolate milk, which i never really liked before lol... I have also found it best to stay away from crunchy stuff, like toast crust and hard biscuits like cruskits.
- Kiwi_AngelMemberI love spicy food but couldn’t eat it round each chemo cycle as it made my mouth burn.
- Trikki2MemberDamn i haven't been able to eat chips.
