What does cording feel like?
Im just about 12 days post op and noticed on Thursday afternoon that it has started to feel quite tight down the inside of my arm. I have been doing my exercises but it also seems to be a little sorer or the inside of my arm. I have been told cording can be feeling like u have a rubber band in your arm which I am suspicious this could be. Going to a lymphodema specialist on Friday so that will be helpful.

- A friend of mine that does have Lymphodema goes there now. They have helped her.

- @sister there is a Lymphodema clinic on Payneham Road. I went for 3 appointments before I had Rad. Am looking on going back again just for them to check all is still ok. Lovely people. Xx

- @sister talk to the breast care nurse at RAH. (Or are you private?) Physio will help with exercises to help. They reviewed mine all through treatment.
- Thanks - I was going to ask Dr Kollias for a recommendation when I see him next week but just wondered if he'd already told you, It sounds as if I'll have to wait a few months, though if it can't be done during chemo.

- You feel nothing. Its just a tiny laser in armpit and in my case elbow. Sonehow it loosened up scarring. They wouldn't do it until chemo finished. My cording was worse on chemo as I had fluid build up. It resolved somewhat and tbe laser sorted. Even though I had full movement, not until after laser did I realise how tight it was.
