Were your fingernails sore before they fell off?
Mine are starting to deteriorate and are becoming sore at the corners of the nails. I'm wondering if this is an early sign that they might go. Week 7 of taxol.
Hi, it could be. I am on Paclitaxel and my fingertips get sore the first couple of days after each chemo. My oncologist took a look and said that the nailbeds are affected which means they may eventually lift off. They look a bit like I've caught them in a door.
