Were you happy with your nipple tattoos? Looking for a tattoo artist Wollongong/Sydney/Canberra and

Hi All - I'm looking to have my nipples 'coloured' now that the reconstruction is complete. 

I have seen the lady my surgeon recommends, and I'm not sure about her work. I have seen a lovely local lady, but she does so few of them it's hard to tell from her photos if they are any good, and then I've spoken to one who is meant to be good (and she'd want to be fore $1300) who wouldn't send me any photos at all.

I'm getting more and more teary/anxious and annoyed that I feel as though I'm asking too much or am too fussy here, but all I really want is natural shading and a light colour without them looking like perfect stickers that are completely round and all one colour. 

Can anyone recommend their tattooist and are they willing to share a pic or too please? Many thanks in advance xxx

I would be so skeptical of anyone who won't show you recent pictures.     Hi Kim,

    My plastic surgeon also recommended Jill Adams, but I haven't yet taken the plunge myself - always seem to have other expenses and priorities - but hope to get to it sometime soon. Hope you manage to find someone you're happy with. Would love to hear how you get on. Jane xx

    Hi Kim,

    i am holding off with mine as well. I live in Cairns and have been given a couple of recommendations. Just wary of their experience, or maybe I'm lazy.  My parents live in Sydney and there is a lady in Mona Vale called Jill Adams who did all Prof Penningtons before he retired, and also all Harvey Sterns ( think that his name) patients. So it seems she has lots of experience. Is that who you saw?   She quoted me around $800 but another $400  for a touch up a few months later. I am like you in that my nipples were fairly pale. I met with Jill last year before I had my nipples made(how weird does that statement sound?), and she drew some on me. I think I will go to her when next I visit my parents. If you go to the online recon group and look for the tag reconstruction nipple in the drop down all topics area there are a couple of stories there.

    Hi so sorry you are having a problom, I have just had mine done but I live in Melbourne. I have posted pictures on the reconstuction site if you wanrt to have a look. I had mine done at a school for cosmetic tatto and didn't pay anything. Sometimes you can get them done through the public hospitals for free, good luck
