Waiting.....

I had more tests today. CT for chest and abdominals for a nagging pain in my lower back, and ultra sound for a lump my onc found just under my mastectomy scar ! I see my onc on monday prior to some more herceptin. Just have to get through the weekend. So..... I am off to Falls Creek for the mile high regatta with the Dragons Abreast cub I joined LOL I go on Sat mornings to practice paddle and this will be my first comp. So wish me luck girls , just hope I don't fall in ( as there would be photos!) . So no time for worrying just some good fun and great laughs to be had high up on the mountain xxx

  • Good on your for paddling.  I just love it.  Should be out on our river tomorrow - weather permitting.  I have competed in a couple of regattas.  It is so much fun however you will push yourself further than you knew you could.  I bet you will have more pains after the weekend!!!!  Have fun and good luck with the test results. • Hi Tonya,  Glad the hip pain was not serious.  I have been with my little grandchildren and now have one hell of a sore back.  It is quite obvious what it is from but gee all these pains get on my "quick".  I'm sure the pap smear will be good too. XLeonie

  • I know how you feel.I had an xray today for a nagging pain in the hip.I was sooo worried it was cancer so didn't wait and tore open the envelope to read the report.Thank God,it was nothing. I'm not out of the woods yet cos had my pap test today and also have to get bloods done.My GP took my blood pressure and it was sky high- I wonder why! Well keeping busy for the weekend will help.Hopefully you can crack open the bubbly on Monday night. That's what I did tonight but how easily it could have gone the other way.Thinking of you and let us know how Monday goes.

                                     love Tonya xx

  • More waiting, bugger! I think waiting for results after having had cancer is one of the most anxious of times. It is hard to stay calm, but I wish you well for your results. Try not to dwell on the negative side of things. That is easier said than done, I know. I will be thinking of you over the weekend, and pray that your results are all GOOD? Love from Chris xx
