Unintended Consequence
Just had a visit to my GP for routine blood results and had a nice surprise to hear that my vitamin D reading was excellent (95)! Not too shabby for the middle of winter. It has been a lot lower, esp...

As alluded to above, I recently visited an endocrinologist following a few hiccups in my recent blood test. It showed my Vit D level has dropped which sounds common among a lot of us especially during winter. It also showed I had moderate neutropenia (low white blood cell count) & my Graves disease (over active thyroid) had returned after being in "remission" for a few years. I asked the specialist if all these abnormalities are related & could any of them have been caused by/realted to my bc & rad treatment & he said NO & dismissed it. I have been playing "Dr Google", which I know you shouldnt, but i seem to be finding a few websites/studies that have a common linkage. has anyone else had a similar experience as it seemed like this doctor is looking at just "killing off" my thyroid as an easy option instead of linking all the pieces together & hoping this will cure my neutropenia also? Thanks for any help!! xx
