Hi again
The main thing I changed was to cut out all sugar where possible and I don't feel like alcohol at the moment. This is my way of feeling like I have self discipline and control. Other than that I am eating a balanced diet of protien, fruit and vegetables. No take away food (only once for fish & chip since November). We have never been big on take away or processed food and prepare everything ourselves including sauces etc. So it wasn't a drastic change in diet for me. Dropping the sugar and walking every day has really helped me to maintain healthy weight.
Once the treatment is over my oncologist said I can look at introducing foods rich in antioxidants and doing things to boost my immune system etc. She doesn't want me experimenting at the moment though so I will heed her word and keep doing what I am doing now.
