Hello Kimee,
I am a newbie awaiting a lumpectomy.Did you have that first and now 're occuring tissue inflamation.?which has turned into BC again.I have family members including my mum who had breast cancer.You see I was abt to have the gene test when I discovered the lump.Ironically I told the surgeon and she said feel well we better get the test done,otherwise if you have the gene,and we may do a bilateral mastectomy.I don't think they read my history.It feels very matter of fact,at Monash breast clinic,one in one out,next,no time to talk.That's why this forum is great.Wish I knew anything for you,not yet.
