Hi LMK74, like you I had chemo prior to surgery. I had a marker put in to the middle of my tumour to track it. It was done under local anaesthetic like my core biopsies. For me it wasn't as painful as the core biopsies. It's kind of cool watching the tumour shrink on the scans, you know the chemos working. I hope yours shrinks like mine did. Good luck!
