Twitching watery eyes on chemo?

Does anyone else have puffy watery eyes that twitch? Is it chemo?

  • Hi @Lispy I have a Watery eye too. Only one (!) which is worse in bright light. Sunnies help when outside but it's so annoying!!! Agree with @InkPetal that it's awkward when talking to others. No twitching as yet though....
  • Sorry- my post got cut!

soldier: I've lost my bottom lashes and it's only the bottom lids that are puffy and pink. I haven't been wearing sunnies much, they seemed to be hurting my head but I'll look at a new pair (I notice it more in bright light).

ink: yep, feels like they're spasming, driving me crazy and looks like I'm crying - awkward when I'm talking to people- they don't know where to look!!

i only have 2 more sessions, I'll mention it on Tuesday but I'm sure she'll notice!

  • Oh dear! Primak- 10 weeks post chemo and its still going
  • I had very watery eyes on chemo and also twitching. ..still some twitching 10 weeks since finishing.
  • Mine started twitching in week 2 and didn't stop until 2 weeks after I was finished. It was like I had a nervous twitch, my eyelids would spasm for hours at a time and water like crazy to the point I could barely see. I was really worried it wasn't going to go away, but it did.
  • I had that Lispy, have you lost your eyelashes? I found it worse while I had no eyelashes.. I resorted to wearing my prescripton sunnies as I found it to bright for a period....
Ask your team about it they might suggest some medications to stop it.
