Tram mesh revision
Hi there, I am 5 years post tram flap mastectomy and need to have mesh fixed as it appears to have not healed correctly and I have a lump in my lower belly with nerve pain and back/hip pain. Anyone had this done? Was there an improvement?

- I had lots of pain in my groin which I suspect was where the mesh had irritated a nerve, very common in hernia repairs. It settled, but I think @primek may be right and it may be a case of more mesh, like when they repair actual hernias. I haven’t heard it happening in any of our posts but you could definitely ask the question.
Paula xx - It may be very much like a hernia repair of which many have very good results. Not sure why hip pain but it might be as your core is supported.
