I had lots of pain in my groin which I suspect was where the mesh had irritated a nerve, very common in hernia repairs. It settled, but I think @primek may be right and it may be a case of more mesh, like when they repair actual hernias. I haven’t heard it happening in any of our posts but you could definitely ask the question.
