I am making everyone in the family take a flu shot plus went to the chemist and ordered couple of boxes of masks...
When I explained that I was about to start chemo and wanted masks to protect myself at work during flu season they were very understanding and promissed to get them for me at cost price.
Do not underestimate the power of those masks - made hubby wear one last year when he had the flu to protect me when at home and we managed to avoid my getting the flu even though he had it.
I am allergic to the flu shot and cannot have it myself so masks have been a great way to deal with the 'nasty season' for the past few years :)
