Thank you to everyone for your good wishes and thoughts, they must have helped as I got the news today that there was no evidence of metastatic involvement - I could have kissed my GP when she said that! The pain is most likely a combination of "being riddled with osteoarthritis" and what appears to be enthespathy (or inflammation of the tendons / ligaments between my spinal discs) in the area that's been painful. I'll take that as a win and celebrate with the kids tonight accordingly! Jane xx
