Tests next week

Hi all,
Haven't posted for a while. I have bone mets which have been stable for 6 months now, so no need for chemo yet. I've been enjoying life & trying to keep family life as normal as possible for the kids. But I have to do a CT scan next week and the closer it gets the more nervous I get. I hate waiting for test results. When did my life revolve around tests & doctor's visits? I want to go back to before breast cancer! Thanks for listening..

    Hi lovely ladies. Well I saw my oncologist today. Good news! My cancer is stable & my tumour markers are falling. So still no need for chemo yet. Yah!

    I live in hope that in the future we will have those sci-fi gizmos that you just run up and down the body and scans immediately.

    I totally understand where you are coming from. It's a roller coaster noone wants to be on. Yes we try and be positive when going for tests but there's always that part of you that is anxious. I am coming upto to my 2 year tests in a couple of months and I am already dreading it. The one thing I do know is that we are stronger than we know and braver than we ever thought we could be. I wish you all the best and sending you positive thoughts for the week ahead xo
