Testing of lymph nodes after chemo
Hi, ive spoken to surgeon and she suggests full axillery lymph node clearance. when I questioned why sentinel nodes not being tested first to see if they are clear, she said after chemo the patholo...
I guess being a big tumor they want to be very sure rather than put you tbrough an additional surgery. She has given good reasons and I don't believe they would recommend this if they didn't believe it necessary.
