Teardrop Implants v Round implants

Hi Ladies, I have had my teardrop implants in for 2 mths They are still feel firm and very dense, and immobile. I'm not sure if I like the feel. They really feel like solid mounds to me, and hence quite fake to touch. Is this normal? They are a slightly odd shape. They are D cup wide and B projection, a bit blunt and cut off at the front. Has anyone else experienced this? Dr says smooth silicone round implants are softer and more flexible in a bra. Would love to hear from anyone about how comfortable you find your teardrop or round implants. I am considering a swap to round implant to get a rounded front and a softer feel. Thx Virginia
  • I would also love to hear other girls views on this.  Im booked in for my expanders out and implants in on the 27th May, my ps wants to put in Mentor 420cc round implants, i always thought that i would want tear drop type?  Can anyone help me?

  • give it time and they will soften up.  Mine were initially quite firm.    It has been a year since I had my implants but they are a lot softer than after the surgery.  I had my yearly check up with the ps last month and he also said that they would get softer again.

I have a teardrop implant but i think it depends on your body shape and size of implant.  My ps chose my implant size and shape for me.

I went up a size so I found some of my bras were a little uncomfortable so it was a matter of finding bras that fit right.  Given the lack of feeling in my breasts I also had to judge my comfort based on any marks/ lines that my bra left behind.
