I had a similar experience in 2015 after being on Tamoxifen for 18 months. Slight bleeding (after ceasing my periods during chemo) and when I had the scans they showed endometrial thickening. I saw an oncology gynecologist who was satisfied that everything was ok but it was decided that I would change to Arimidex.
Waiting to hear that I didn't have endometrial cancer took me right back to those first days of being diagnosed with breast cancer. It is difficult but many people have the changes and it doesn't mean cancer.
Just keep breathing and be thankful that it is being investigated. What ever it is will be treated and you are getting excellent care.
