swimming breast prosthesis

Has anyone got a swimming breast prosthesis and are they just similiar to the normal one but waterproof and cheaper with no medicare rebate? I know there is two types on the market i'm looking at the lastest one that looks clear.Any feedback would be appreciate. TIA!
  • Thank you so much and your comment has been very helpful :)
  • I have the clear ones. They have some weight to them so they are less `floaty` than the foam ones. Had the foam ones first but they didn't last long and went out if shape very easily. The clear gel ones last longer if your a regular swimmer. Not sure what they cost now but they were $149 ea almost 2 years ago. No medicare rebate although if you have private health insurance extras you might be able to get them to cover at least part of the cost.
