Hi DansBoobs
It is a big toss up between the waiting game and treading in to the unknown. It does make you stronger and once you have got through it MOST of the time you go hey that wasn't so bad. It makes you a lot stronger and proud of yourself. It is very tough though and not a nice ride of anyone, including loved ones.
Good luck luvy

That does make things worse, as you wait and wait. It is always nice to be the first cab off the rank ?. I was done at about 3:30pm and it was a long wait as I had to be at the hospital at 8am for my pre-sentinel node biopsy thingy.
- DansBoobsMemberThanks shaz and Annie, still here! 2nd to last on the list!

The waiting REALLY is the WORST and It really is torture.
It is a sad thing that we have to wait for anything, let alone everything - testing, diagnosis, surgery, results, treatment ect etc.
But we can and do make it through, and I think it makes us stonger for it (although we really could do without it).
Good Luck for today, I realise it is probably too late now, as you are probably already at the hospital, if not in surgery - But GOOD LUCK (not that you will need it, everything will be fine and it is a mental relief to know the tumour is out of your body).
Talk to you when you are out the other side and the tumour is out.
