surgery over
Had my surgery on Tuesday and home today with a couple of drains insitu. Have to wait till 15th for final results but feeling good. Not much pain and have drains removed tomorrow. Still feeling ver...
Glad that bit's over for you. The wait for surgery can be awful.
The wait for results sounds even worse. I feel so lucky. Because I was from out of town, and in a private hospital, my surgeon kept me in hospital for a couple of extra days, until results were in and she could tell me. Unfortunately, I then had to go back to theatre for a re-excision as I didn't have clear margins. Oh well, 7 months on, and all is good.
