Sounds like menopause, Bev. Anaesthetics can play havoc with your system for weeks as well. Moodiness, sweatiness, sleeplessness--most of the 'esses' you can think of
As for the burning sensations, yep. I think pretty much everyone who has their underarm excavated has those to some degree.
