Staying positive
I so enjoyed dropping my daughter off at school today (she's in prep). First time I have driven since surgery so it felt good to be out again and be a "school mum", something I have looked forward to...
Grab onto those special everyday moments with your daughter, family and friends. They will give you the strength to weather through the tougher days. I also had FEC/D (I think Docetaxel is just another name for taxotere) as my chemo cocktail. Everyone is different but I found I had more good days than bad during chemo so I hope you find the same. I made the most of those good days, even having 3 mini weekend 'holidays' to recharge my own and the whole family's batteries!
3 years down the track I am very healthy and enjoying the ordinary things that I now appreciate even more because of my experience with bc.
Good luck with everything. Take care. Deanne xxx
