I so understand how you feel. I was diagnosed late Feb and am also in the holding pattern waiting to be told Chemo is about to start (beem.told to expect the 1st one next week)...
I find it so unnerving that it has not started yet nut at the same.time.it terrifies me how mu body will react as I am.allergic to everything and that is why they have not started it yet....
I guess it is comforting to know we do have a good medical sustem and good doctors and nurses so it does reassure me if things go pearshaped they will look after us.
I reckon as far as the sideaffects go we just accept it will be a miserable few months but it is something we have to get through to make sure this bloody BC is dealt with and long term what is a few months.... mext to nothing in our lifetime and I bet in our heads we have built it up.into something way way worse than it is in reality so just hang in there.
I hope they do clear you so you can get on with your treatment and soon it will be all behind you
