Sore Armpits/Nodes

@jennyss can you imagine sitting there having chemo in one arm and a glass of champagne in the other hand lol 

  Dear @Hendrix, After @Nefertari's chuckle, I had a closer look at your profile picture and had a chuckle too. I previously had an image of you sitting up on a grand leather couch with a glass of chamgpagne in hand! (The chemo chairs in my centre are a very eye-catching red vinyl).

I just bought this up with my Breast Surgeon on Wednesday.  It is six months since my surgery and I am having pain in my nipple and underarm, my scars are nowhere near the pain either.  It is sometimes burning, stabbing or aching. Very random. 
She said it is quite normal after the surgery and the radiation to have pain but it is always best to check it out.  She did a full breast examination and underarms, ouch!  Okay as far as she is concerned.
I think it is normal to fret over these things after having endured what we have.

@Hendrix,
3 yrs down the trtack and the armpit with the node removal still does whatever the heck it wants.  It can be great for months then get weird.  I find if I get a bit slack with the stretching it can go wayward.  The wrong bra can trigger it off if the wire sits too high.  It's not terrible, just annoying, occasionally achy, sometimes a bit puffy and warm. The other one is normal.
  Best to get it checked if the other one is going out in sympathy though. xoxo

@cranky_granny I don’t have a scar in my armpit, they went through the same cut on my boob and removed 4 nodes. But my other armpit feels the same. I’ll make an appointment with the GP. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced

i still get sore hot puffy armpit on occasion only around the lymph removal scar still trying to figure what sets it off but it usually goes away after some gentle exercise and a cool washer
