It was the origanal incompetent who told me that my preferred US technician wasnt available until Jan - and had left a note on my file that i wanted to wait til she was back in Jan! NO!! NEVER! And anyone else looking should have seen that note and queried it, given the number of times i had rung asking for a date.
Totally agree @Sister ... i should do a big whinge to the Head office ... but will now wait for the results first! I have a good record of it all in these posts and the letter to my Rad Onc. She'd actually spoken to the nurse there today hence the phone call and 'Sorry ... you want it done NOW' conversation. So not sure if it was massive mis communication or deliberate games by the first person who was deciding who got appts first. She definitely said I had to fit in with THEM, as the parting comment!! No need for that statement if I had elected for the Jan appt. And we didnt end the conversation as friends!!
So... biopsy under ultrasound guidance tomorrow. Woo bloody Hoo
Just chatted with rad onc .... profuse apologies for the whole stuff up. Said she is happy to forward info in my letter to a manager if I want to take it further ... have said not just yet but thanks.
I will be in the brand new specialised Breast Biopsy unit just opened 2 weeks ago ... so just hope everthing is working as it should.
