The continuing saga of ......... I finally got thru to the radiology on their 1800 number today (after ringing the ‘old location’ again the other day to be told no nurses available to do the booking and not told why .. ) Yes, they HAVE moved location, and now they tell me the only specialist to run the machine is away for 4 weeks. FUCKING USELESS PRICKS. She did say they were trying to find some one to use the machine ......
To do the move at this time of year is bordering on negligence, I reckon. To not advise their clients (Drs and specialists) that they are doing it - is totally negligent and irresponsible, showing total disregard and indifference to their client’s needs and requirements (ie us, the patient), whether a serious issue or not. I told the receptionist to pass that on.
Then I got upset! She’s taken my details and has said someone will get back to me (AS IF), as (once again) no nurses were there to make the appointment. (Which has been their excuse from Dec 4th.) And That would be because their machines arent even hooked up to be used, I reckon.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE LIES AND MISINFORMATION that’s been handed out for the last 2 and a half weeks! AND STILL NO CLOSER TO A FUCKING BIOPSY APPOINTMENT!
At least I am more ANGRY right now, than upset. Highly unlikely to be seen ANYWHERE before New Year, I reckon. And this is NSW’s 3rd biggest town ..... UNBELIEAVABLE!
My rad Onc should have received my letter by now requesting my films, reports and referral be sent to Newcastle - see which one rings first ..... I haven’t heard from her either.
