All through chemo I had weird sleeping patterns. I had to take Dexamethasone which is a steroid, for a few days each cycle and it caused the problem. It is used to prevent fluid build up and to help with the nausea. The problem resolved itself when I didn't have to take Dex. any more. Are you taking this? May be it's one of the pills they give you in the chemo day ward? Can't help with scalp problem, I had mine shaved off before I started chemo and didn't have a problem but sorbolene cream is used for radiation burns and is very gentle.
