Im day 7 post chemo ( had it wednesday in SALE), and i became very dehydrated! Apparently i was withdrawing off the Dexamethasone badly, my pulse was averageing around 95-100 bpm for most of this week, today is good, at 65. I was almost admitted on a drip, but i got stuck into bottle after bottle of water and an electrolyte icy pole to rehydrate, worked! So today is an awsome day for me :) Also i got great news off my chemo specialist yesterday, I can now do my chemo in Bairnsdale, 30 min away instead of 1.5hrs! And the oncology unit is only 12 mnths old and its soooo nice!!! And i know the food is good there! Travelling to SALE made me anxious and sick in itself, i hated staying in overnight away from my boys and my man having to travel all the time. I may stay in o/n again, as this chemo will be the last of the nasty stuff, and apparently it will hit hard, after this i get Dositaxyl ( spelt wrong), thats a more user friendly type and i wont be so ill, so, one more hit of shit, then its 3 of the other, then off to radio for 6 weeks.
Im glad your going away! Sounds beautiful, I intend to make a trip too, not sure where, but after all this i think i deserve it, so does my man. We women go through alot to keep breathing, no matter how much we want to quit at times., but our family suffer as well.
And yes, my bikini line is sooo smooth! hahahaha, my legs are great!
Stay strong girl, stay well!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxx
