Should I question it?
Last month I had my one year since diagnosis mammogram and check up with a surgeon substitute. He has booked me in for another six monthly check as that will be one year from mastectomy. So far so goo...
In the lead up to my 'biopsy scare' in Dec, they only gave me an ultrasound, as I'd had a mamogram & US 6 months earlier when my tumour was detected. (My GP thought she detected another lump in my other boob, so had a script for both, but they only did the US.)
They said they didn't want to give me more rays (from the mammogram) than I had already had with 2 lots of MGs & US from Nov - July - so it could be the same reason for your 6 monthly 'just US' & not mammogram?
