Hi June, There is always something isn't there. Keep us on our toes!!!! So far so good with the omission of the Arimidex. I went to my lovely GP yesterday and told her. Her comment was "I can't blame you". She told me a lot of ladies had gone off it. I am only 56 and want to be able to enjoy a few more years of activity - like I was able to before treatment. I have done 4 years on Tamoxifen and over 1 year on Arimidex so I figure that is enough. I choose to reap the rewards (positive affirmation). I hope you find some relief. Remember it is always our own decision to take whatever we want. It is all about finding the right "mix" for oneself. Take care XLeonie

Thanks for your reply Maria and advice re exercise. I go to an exercise/support group for BC ladies and this does help. I have been taking rosehip vital for two weeks so abit early to get a result yet. We only have to "hang in"
Cheers June

Hi Leonie
Thanks for your reply.
I have been taking rosehip vital for 2 weks now and no different as yet but will stay on for awhile I have tried glucosomime and fish oil with no result. I too am sick of the stiffness and aches and pains.
Interested to hear you are going off Arimidex ( I take Femara)
Hope things improve
I have recently had a melonoma removed from my right cheek and also dealing with that. Thankfully I dont have to have any further treatment but the wound is slow healing and have dressings to do daily ( 1 month up )
Cheers June

I tried Omega Fish Oil - seems to have helped me. I have heard others talk of the rosehip and read articles about it. One thing that has helped me for sure is yin yoga. The teacher was very understanding that it would take me some time to get into my pose.
I think any exercise you feel comfortable doing that is gentle and helps stretch the tension away from your muscles will do you some good. This sad, any regaular daily routine of stretches should help with the tension and get the circulation moving.
All the very best.

No haven't seen this but everything is worth a try. Today I made the decision to stop Arimidex as from this evening. I am going off it until next year. I am so sick of the aches and pains and now how back issues. I have little strength in my muscles so I will see what happens. Take care XLeonie
