  • Talk to the fantastic Counsellors, they are free via the Cancer Council and hospitals.  It helped me big time!    Mental toughness is really a wonderful thing, and the tools you decide to learn to cope with, will help you through every struggle in life.  I havent met too many people who havent got a sh.... list, this is one that you have now joined a massive club of!  Welcome, remember to take long slow steady breaths and I recommend never sitting down and worrying on your own.  Pick up a phone and ring all those lovely people who volunteer to support you on the phone, chat to the Breast Care Nurse, Cancer Council was my first call, I moved and didnt have any support, other than my husband, so I used every stranger who offered me a hand, for comfort!  I have learnt to focus on what is infront of me, rather than behind.  I have attended group weekly meetings with others who have Cancer, and have never felt alone.  Most of all, there is the "My Journey Kit", for all you need to know, and the BCNA, for anything you want to ask, say or complain about, we will support you, and understand, after all, we have been there too!  Best of luck......I have finished all my treatment and ready to go back to work~! • You poor luv Dizumba.  You have been through tough times already and now you have to cope with BC.

I hope you have got help for your depression and on medication from your GP and feeling better in that regard.  You don't have to go through life depressed.

You do have a hard time ahead but you are not alone as your pink sisters are here for you to talk to when you need us.

Chemo is not nice but it is doable and you are obviously a strong person with what you have already been through.

The unknown is the hardest. Not knowing what to expect from your chemo day and then what is to follow is the scariest part.  You will get through your chemo day and then walk out of the chemo ward and say hey that wasn't as hard as I thought it was.  Then you just take it hour by hour or day by day.  You try and look after yourself the best way you can.

They say drinking lots of water before and after your chemo to help flush it out of your system is a good way to go.  Try and do gentle exercise and eat and sleep well.

We are here for you anytime you need us to help you get through this.  Just send us a call for help and someone will be there.

Good luck and I will be thinking of you and sending you good strong healthy vibes to help you get through.  Come back and let us know how you are going.

Lots of love always, Mich xoxoxox
