Results after the Mastectomy
I had the mastectomy & SNB on the 10th & had to go to the hospital yesterday for the results, it was news that I did not want to hear.
The lymph node was positive so I now have to see the oncologis...

Dear Eileen. I feel your pain in reading this post. I had that very same news just over a year ago when I had positive lymph nodes and had to go back for a lymph clearance surgery. It is so hard to receive scary news hey but what I want to encourage you with is that it is just another bump in the road that you will get over. You will conquer this challenge one day at a time and before you know it, you will look back and see how far you have come. You are in the best hands, you have the best medicine and qualified surgeons to deal with this and the most important thing is, it was found so it can be dealt with. I know it doesn't make it easier, but you are not alone. So many women have gone through these exact same challenges and have come out on the other end to cheer us on and encourage us along the way. I am cheering you on and sending you a massive virtual hug. Hang in there, chin up, you've got this!!
