Reconstruction, revision and drains

Hi I'm new on here too and also a bit of a techno phobe so not sure what I'm doing when posting. Sorry to hear about your experience with reconstruction and great that you are going to get it fixed with a good surgeon. I'm having a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction in the public system so fingers crossed.  I just read @HoneyBee's list of questions and I am going to take them with me when I next go to the reconstruction appointment as it is a bit intimidating when you are sat opposite the surgeon so thank you for that list.  I have been trying to join the Choosing Breast reconstruction Group and have typed in a couple of times on different days a paragraph in the "Why to do you want to join" box but I'm not sure if it worked and when I try to join it goes a grey colour? As I don't really know what I'm doing and I would really love to join this group and get support, find out what's involved and what to expect and some of the practical issues like do I need to buy special bras to wear after surgery etc and just what to expect really. I don't have a date for my operation yet but I think it will be sooner rather than later so I wanted to just get as much info as possible in the meantime. Appreciate any help with this. Thank you x
