Reaching my first goal
Well I made it !. Last Sunday I turned 70 yrs something I never thought would ever happen when I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer 4 yrs and 4 months ago. Some people say its nothing to get excited about being 70 but to me it means a lot . one thing it means is I'm still alive, and every day now is a bonus. I had lots of celebrations , lunches with friends and a big family gathering. Still have one lunch invitation to go on Thursday. Hope I survive all the partying. My family have given me a gift voucher for my husband and I to have a helicopter joy flight over the beaches on the central coast of N.S.W. which we will take on a nice sunny day. It was the one thing on my bucket list. I will finish on this note. Just wishing you girls all the best with your treatment and sunny days ahead. Love and best wishes Wendy H 67
