Radiation

Hi all hope everyone is well, just an update I have 1 more radiation treatment tomorrow, was suppose to be today but machines not working so what's one more day in the scheme of things ?? Anyway rads will finish tomorrow and that's all treatment finished woohoo. On Monday 30/11 had a CT scan done and bone density (dexa) scan done as well, on Monday 7/12 got my results and for the first time in 6 months got some good news, there is no cancer spread to be seen and my bones are the best my oncologist has ever seen, I'm so so pleased, I'm on arimidex now for next ten years and going onto bifosfinates in February to protect my bones as I have a bone condition called "spotty bones" and because it's quite rare they don't know what will happen with my bones so extra protection for me. New diet also started to loose weight which seems to be working so everything on the up and up. To all the ladies that are just starting your fight hang in there you can get through this, it takes time, yes there are ups and downs but you will make it through like I have, take care of yourself, relax and destress.
