QUOTATIONS

Hello all, hope everyone is well and having a fabulous day!!

I have mentioned before of my love for my suport groups...I have no idea what i would do without them and i look forward to them on a weekly bases..There usually something that stays on my mind for a few days after the group and at times i need to explore more...

Today was another one of those days, our group facilitators got together several quotations by different people, she asked to pick one that stood out and why it applied to us.. Well i chose 2. And both by Elenor Roosevelt. So i was sitting here and looking up Elenor Roosevelt and i had no realised how many great quotes she has made....As i was reading them, i thought i would share a couple that stood out for me, and i hope that everyone shares a few words of inspirations,quotes or something that has put a smile on your face...

    hi, you have reminded me to try and attend one oin brisbane as i could imagine they would make you feel very less alone :)

    Forums and support networks I have found to be great because you know everyone is experiencing the same emotions and feelings as yourself. Not having to explain yourself over and over, just agreeing and saying to yourself "wow thats how Im feeling today"!

    My very good friend gave me a card recently with a quote from Dr.Suess in it! It has become a bit of an anthem in my house and I read it daily!

    "I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!"

    How lovely.  I will pass these on.  It also made me realise that I am now well enough to attend the Support Group that I used to attend after my first diagnosis (before I had to return to work).  Have a great day. XLeonie
