query re oncologist in Sydney.

Hi all, 

my cousins husband has just been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. They are devastated as we all are with a cancer diagnosis. They have been referred to an oncologist called Dr Jane Freeman and will probably be having chemo at The San hospital. As its years since I was in Sydney I have no idea about Doctors there. They asked if I knew anything about this oncologist. If anyone has been treated by her and can pass on some words of encouragement for me to pass on to my cousin it would be greatly appreciated.

    No Annie,

    My sister in Sydney asked me to enquire. Our cousin has just been diagnosed with Hodgkin's and like everyone who is first diagnosed he is frightened.  When she asked as we all do if there was anything she could do he asked her (she is a nurse as well) if she knew anything about his oncologist.  I am sure she is great, but she asked if I could ask if any of the ladies had been treated by her.  I think he just wants reassurance (as we all do) that he is seeing the right person.  I remember only too well those first few anxious weeks after diagnosis.
