I was diagnosed with BC 3 yrs ago. Recently had a blood test with elevated levels of lactate dehydrogenase (quite significantly elevated). I have recently had a widespread body rash in Jan and since then, had generalised itching on the head and back. Also mild nausea....
I have a CAT scan booked for next week but do these symptoms resonate with anyone out there? If so, what was your diagnosis.

OK - Well I guess you must be relieved to know it was not anything more sinister. Annoying when these small irritations crop up and you automatically link it to cancer. Thanks for taking the time to respond, LorryH.

No. They treated it as an infection with 5 days hospital and 8 weeks oral antibiotics. When I had changeover surgery they concluded it was not an infection. It started again recently and antibiotics and monitoring is the order of the day.

Hi - just to say twice now I've had an unexplained rash which has been closely scrutinised by the Breast care nurse and my surgeon.
Hopefully your scan will solve the reasoning behind it all.
