Hi there, I just wanted to say it gets easy I was diagnosed in 2012 and yesterday got my 4th year of all clear had tamoxifen for a year with zoladex injections then had a hysterectomy and now take femara,.although it only seems like yesterday that I had so many appointments. Radiotherapy is different for everyone but the main thing is you will get tired towards the end I use to go in the morning and then onto work I survived but boy at the end I was exhausted, I regret not taking time out. Using a special deodarent ask the breast care nurse and moisturize, there are so many recommendations I used alovera as it was so cooling but I did burn badly for the last 5 sessions and had to have dressings 3 times a day. And do your post op exercises the radio aggravated my post op cording. I used to take a gel freezer pack and use it after to cool my breast down as I drove to work this was great, you will feel all kinds of weird pains but its normal. I used to enjoy the chit chat with the others who were waiting also its amazing that there are so many people with different cancers as you seem to feel a kinship with them, I wouldn't normaly talk to complete strangers but its amazing you do. I wish you all the best adean
