  • Hi @Cynth6, I was actually leaning towards a pick line.
how often were your treatments and you had TNBC too right?
Id like any advice you can give so if you could PM me when you get time I would really appreciate it x
  • I had a picc line and I would recommend getting that or a port to save you the pain. At first it's a bit hard to adjust but then you get used to it.
Yeah you can have blood done through there and everything.
All the best for your chemo. Remember you have a lot of support on here for when you have those bad chemo days. Xx
  • @Spiv1803 - they do everything thru mine & I asked them to leave it in after chemo - I have to get it fluched every 6 weeks but that coincides with my blood tests so works out great for me :) . I had AC Chemo as well but 6 cycles.

  • Yes, get one, best thing I ever did & now 18 months after end of chemo I still have it because it makes blood tests etc sooooo much easier.... & even though they give me an Emla patch each time I often dont even use it because it hurst no more than a normal book test to have it accessed.. Cate
