Today I got the results of my core biopsy and have to see surgeon to get the lesion removed.

I'm so sorry you've been diagnosed with bc, it always comes as a shock. Be kind to yourself, take a support person with you to meetings and write down all your questions for the docs.
i don't know anything about phyllodes tumours but can tell you that as a nurse I am really impressed with the public health system and the treatment they provide. I haven't had the option of cold caps & silicone dressings, but my friends in private system haven't had a choice in surgery or chemo or supportive treatments post-chemo. I guess whether you go public or private, you will receive more current treatment at a large city treating centre rather than in more remote regions. I hope you find the treatment options that suit you.
