I am assuming you've had a scan. A scan will show if its a solid mass or a fluid cyst. Yes a gynae is the appropriate referral. If there was any concerns it would be an urgent review. See your GP...discuss your worry and see what they say. They can pick up tbe phone snd hasten your appointment along.
