3 days OMG! I have had Panadol osteo, targin and tramadol. Barely touching the sides

I’m up to week 9/12 this Friday. First two days ( my weekends have been shit - poor planning ;0)) after I’m a bit achy but by Monday I’m back at gym again doing my best. Panadol osteo before bed each night. X

@Rachwllms you're not supposed to have ibuprofen whilst on chemo as it thins the blood. I was told this during my pre-chemo info session, and by my Oncol@Spiv1803, ask them for some endone, it will at least help with the pain, as well as Targin morning & night, the Endone is for breakthrough pain & can help with the bone pain. Force yourself to do a little excercise but also rest plenty & drink LOTS of water.

@Rachwllms don’t stress my first taxol was the worst and I had just done 4 ac too. I was worried how I would get through. Session 2 was better and even though it’s getting worse I don’t think I’m as bad now at session 1 as in that first one. My onc said ibuprofen was fine as long as platelets are ok so I wouldn’t stress. Hope you feel feel better soon

:( @Spiv1803 how far into treatment are you ? I just had my 7th weekly combined with carboplatin- pain is awful day of treatment but they gets progressively better.

does it get worse!

Sorry to hear you’re suffering with that awful bone pain. The good news is, it usually only lasts about 3 days.
Ask your oncologist for some pain relief for the next time.
