One year on. Happy anniversary to me....well kind of

One whole year since the end of radiation.  Well, it was actually yesterday but, unsurprisingly, I forgot about it until today.  I remember at the start when I questioned the surgeon as to how long...

I am 1 year tomorrow to surgery date. The date of diagnosis (29 June 2017)  and the date of surgery (28 July 2017) are engraved well and truley in my memory.
The unexpected "out of the blue", never entering my mind, shock diagnosis was overwhelming. A year ago I could not think past the present minute that I was in. A year's time seemed impossible. However here I am. Still not planning much past the end of August.

Congratulations on 1 year. Yes, it does get better.
