I refused to continue with Taxol after 3 weeks when my
neuropathy became intolerable. I was put back on FEC for the last one. I was told that it was very rare for someone to react as badly to it as I did :(
I was just petrified of carrying on and suffering permanent damage. And I
honestly just could not deal with the burning and stinging on my hands and
feet. It had me in tears and scratching and literally going mad. I
am so sorry to hear about your mum, and hope it is just a false alarm. HUGS XXX
