Thank you all for your comments. I have found them to be very helpful and supportive. I have seen my surgeon and breast cancer nurse (BCN)and the assessment from the medical team is to have the right breast done now and the left later after healing and treatment. You're right, it wasn't something I wanted to hear but the risk for me to go under an anaesthetist for so long is to high because of my asthma, sleep aponea and weight. My surgeon also told me that it will be (hopefully) about 4-5 months until the left removed. I thought I would have to wait 12-18 months.
