Needing a little vent. One week post surgery today. Recovery has been a bit up and down. The first few days were great, but I've developed a bit of swelling and pain the last two days, which I didn't ...
Yay, no cancer found in the lymph nodes they removed. Cancer is grade 2 oestrogen and progesterone positive. Several tumors were detected in the breast tissue and beginning to invade blood vessels, the largest being 9mm. Breast specialist is recommending chemo, radiation and hormone therapies as a precaution. Couldn't be happier about my pathology results. 12 nodes removed, mastectomy wound is healing well, stitches out next week.
