OMG what a day! !!
Hi all Just wanted to vent a bit as had a s**t day! I had an appointment at the hospital to get the results of the MRI I had in May at the request of the surgeon as they saw a small "thing"...
@smokie08 I would say that is unbelievable but unfortunately it's not. I can only begin to imagine what you went through and not surprised that your husband was so angry. I think it is important for you to put a written complaint in if and when you feel up to it. It can be worded as a report on the situation to be used for team reviews (or whatever the phrase is - I've lost my words). I did something similar in February when they stuffed up the chemo and came close to pumping the poison straight into my chest. I didn't really criticise the nurses, although I did highlight the need to listen to the patient, but I did point out the flaws in the systems and the training. I also sent a copy to my surgeon as my co-ordinating specialist.
